Torque Wrench Gedore 6142620
The Gedore 6142620 torque wrench is a mechanical, hand-operated tool designed for demanding industrial and utility vehicle use. It conforms to DIN 3122 and ISO 3315 standards and features a recessed lever change with push-button release and a 7.5° return angle. The tool locks in the middle position and automatically engages for clockwise or counterclockwise operation when the lever is flipped. It has a non-slip two-component handle with a hanging hole and is made from Gedore vanadium steel (31CrV3) with chrome plating. The wrench is intended for hand-operated sockets and accessories with a 12.5 mm (C 12.5) square drive according to DIN 3120 / ISO 1174 and uses a ball locking device.
The torque wrench offers precise torque application for bolts and nuts, a compact 7.5° return angle for work in confined spaces, and a secure mid-position lock for safe handling. The recessed lever change with push-button release enables straightforward direction changes, while the non-slip 2-component handle with hanging hole improves grip and storage. Constructed from Gedore vanadium steel (31CrV3) and chrome-plated, the tool provides durability suitable for industrial environments.
Select the appropriate hand-operated socket or accessory with a 12.5 mm square drive and attach it to the wrench using the ball locking device. Set the required torque according to the tool’s scale or mechanism, position the socket on the fastener, and apply force until the wrench indicates the set torque. Use the recessed lever to change rotation direction and the push-button release as needed. The 7.5° return angle allows incremental adjustments in tight spaces; when the lever is flipped the wrench will lock into the mid position for either clockwise or counterclockwise operation.
Inspect the wrench and sockets for damage before each use, calibrate periodically according to manufacturer guidance, and avoid using the tool to loosen fasteners beyond its rated torque. Store the wrench in a dry place and hang by the handle hole when not in use.
