Screwdriver Bit Gedore 6153580
The Gedore 6153580 screwdriver bit is a hand-operated tool designed for precise turning of fasteners. Made of Gedore vanadium special steel with a manganese-phosphated finish and chrome-plated knurled grip, it includes a pressed-in pin and a ball-retaining groove. The bit conforms to DIN 7422 and fits square drives per DIN 3120 - C 12.5 and ISO 1174. It is suitable for use with oil filter and drain plug screws (IN 19 17) and is compact and lightweight for easy handling and storage.
The bit combines durable Gedore vanadium special steel construction with a manganese-phosphated surface treatment and chrome-plated knurled handle for improved grip. Its pressed-in pin and ball-retaining groove ensure secure attachment to compatible square drives. Compliance with DIN and ISO drive standards provides interchangeability with standardized tool holders.
Select a compatible square drive tool holder (C 12.5) and insert the Gedore 6153580 bit until the pressed-in pin and ball-retaining groove engage to secure it. Use the knurled grip for manual turning where appropriate; the bit can also be mounted in compatible ratchets or extensions that accept the specified square drive. After use, clean any debris and store the bit in a dry location to protect the manganese-phosphated finish.
Use with matching square-drive sockets or holders rated for the C 12.5 size and avoid applying excessive torque beyond the capacity of a hand-operated bit. For high-torque mechanical applications, use a suitably rated tool to prevent damage to the bit or fastener.
