Adjustable Wrench Gedore 6406620
Adjustable Wrench Gedore 6406620 with an adjusting screw and a release lever, model 137 10 featuring a blue dip-insulated lever. The pliers have forged, tempered jaws with a special jaw shape that provides secure gripping, clamping and holding. Manufactured from Gedore vanadium steel 31CrV3 with nickel plating; the jaw body is made of high-tensile sheet steel. The upper jaw is automatically welded for a firm connection with the sheet-steel body. The jaw design ensures a three-point contact across material cross-sections. A threaded bore is welded at the bottom to prevent widening under extreme loading and the tool provides a safe release with a release lever held under constant pressure by a special spring.
The Gedore 6406620 combines vanadium steel construction and nickel plating for corrosion resistance and strength. Its forged, tempered jaws and special profile deliver reliable three-point gripping for different shapes and sizes of fasteners. The automatically welded upper jaw and welded threaded bore increase structural integrity and prevent deformation under high loads. The blue dip-insulated lever gives additional handling safety while the release lever with a spring ensures controlled and safe disengagement.
Turn the adjusting screw to open or close the jaw until it fits the nut or bolt. Position the wrench so that the special jaw profile makes three-point contact with the workpiece, then apply force to turn or hold the fastener. Use the release lever to disengage the grip when finished; the lever is maintained under pressure by a spring for controlled release. For safe operation, ensure the jaw is properly engaged and aligned before applying high torque.
Inspect the wrench before use for signs of wear or damage. Do not exceed the intended leverage or apply hammering to the tool. Store in a dry place to preserve the nickel plating and steel components. Use appropriate personal protective equipment when working with hand tools.
