Open End Wrench Gedore 6574090
The Gedore 6574090 open end wrench is an ISO/DIN-compliant hand tool manufactured from vanadium steel (31CrV3) with a 15° jaw offset. It is produced in sizes ranging from 10 to 135 mm and features a hanging hole for convenient storage. Smaller sizes (up to 38 mm) have a manganese-phosphate finish, while sizes 41 mm and larger are steel-grey.
This open end wrench meets DIN 894 and ISO 3318 standards and offers a defined 15° jaw set for work in confined spaces. The use of Gedore vanadium steel (31CrV3) provides strength and wear resistance. The hanging hole enables easy storage and organization, and the light weight and compact dimensions make it easy to handle and store.
Select the correct wrench size for the nut or bolt. Position the open jaws fully onto the fastener, ensuring proper seating on the flats. Use controlled force to turn the fastener, keeping the 15° jaw offset in mind to access confined areas. Avoid applying torque beyond the tool's capacity and reposition the wrench as needed to prevent slipping or rounding of fasteners.
Store the wrench on a pegboard or in a tool rack using the hanging hole to keep it dry and readily accessible. Clean off dirt and grease after use and inspect for wear; replace if jaws are damaged. Do not use the wrench as a hammer or pry bar.
