Open End Wrench Gedore 6574680
Open End Wrench Gedore 6574680 is an open-end spanner manufactured from Gedore vanadium steel (31CrV3) with the jaw set at 15° in accordance with DIN 894 and ISO 3318. The tool is compact and lightweight (46 g) with a hanging hole and is available in sizes from 10 mm to 135 mm. Surface finish is manganese-phosphate for sizes up to 38 mm and steel-grey for sizes 41 mm and larger. One size marked with an asterisk is not standardised.
The Gedore 6574680 offers precise mating with fasteners due to its 15° jaw angle specified by DIN 894 / ISO 3318. Made from 31CrV3 vanadium steel, the wrench provides high strength and wear resistance. Different surface finishes (manganese-phosphate or steel-grey) improve corrosion resistance and durability according to size. The compact dimensions and hanging hole make storage and handling convenient.
Select the correct wrench size that fits the nut or bolt snugly. Place the open jaws over the fastener and apply steady force in the required direction to tighten or loosen. Use the 15° jaw offset to access fasteners in confined spaces by flipping the wrench between operations. Store the wrench on a pegboard or tool rail using the hanging hole when not in use.
Use the wrench only on the correct size of fastener to avoid rounding. Do not use as a hammer or pry bar. For work requiring higher torque, use the next appropriate tool and observe safety precautions. Clean and lightly oil the wrench after use to maintain the surface finish and prevent corrosion.
