Open End Wrench Gedore 6574840
The Gedore 6574840 open end wrench is manufactured from 31CrV3 vanadium steel and conforms to DIN 894 and ISO 3318. The wrench features a 15° jaw set for access in confined spaces and is available in standard sizes from 10 mm to 135 mm; sizes up to 38 mm have a manganese‑phosphate finish while sizes 41 mm and larger have a steel‑grey finish. The tool includes a hanging hole for storage and is intended for reliable tightening and loosening of nuts and bolts.
Made of Gedore vanadium steel (31CrV3) for durability and strength. Standardised design according to DIN 894 and ISO 3318 ensures accurate fit and interchangeability. 15° offset jaws improve accessibility on fasteners in tight or angled positions. Variable protective finishes provide corrosion resistance appropriate to size. Hanging hole enables organised storage.
Select the wrench size that matches the nut or bolt head. Place the open jaws fully over the fastener so the load is taken by the flats, not the corners. Use steady, controlled force to turn the fastener; with the 15° jaw set, reposition the wrench as needed to continue turning in tight spaces. Store the wrench on a peg or in a tool board using the hanging hole when not in use.
Do not apply impact force or use the wrench as a hammer. For corroded or seized fasteners consider using appropriate penetrating lubricant first. Inspect the wrench for wear or damage before use and replace if jaws are deformed to maintain safe and accurate operation.
