Open End Wrench Gedore 6577190
The Gedore 6577190 open end wrench is manufactured according to DIN 894 and ISO 3318 with a jaw set at 15° for improved access in confined spaces. Made from Gedore vanadium steel (31CrV3), the wrench is available in a range of sizes and finishes: manganese‑phosphate finish up to 38 mm and steel‑grey finish for sizes 41 mm and larger. The tool includes a hanging hole on sizes from 10 to 135 mm and conforms to standard dimensional specifications; one size noted as non‑standardised.
Constructed from 31CrV3 vanadium steel for strength and wear resistance, the wrench meets DIN and ISO standards for open end wrenches. The 15° jaw angle improves access on fasteners in tight or awkward positions. Manganese‑phosphate and steel‑grey finishes provide surface protection and reduced glare depending on size. Available with a hanging hole for convenient storage on most sizes.
Select the correct wrench size for the fastener to ensure full contact along the jaws. Position the wrench so the 15° offset provides better approach angle, apply steady torque and avoid sudden impacts. Inspect the wrench before use for wear or damage and replace if the jaws are deformed. Use appropriate personal protective equipment when working on machinery or vehicles.
For long service life, keep the wrench clean and lightly oiled to prevent corrosion; store on a rack using the hanging hole where provided and avoid using the wrench as a hammer or prying tool.
