Gedore 760-00 pre-set torque wrench provides controlled screw tightening in the common torque range of 0.4–135 N·m. Designed for serial and production-line use, it is built for extremely long-term operation with a lightweight, robust and corrosion-resistant construction. The tool includes a 9x12 mm rectangular-cavity end and allows bi-directional tightening by turning the wrench 180°.

Advantages

The torque wrench is pre-set without a scale and achieves a working accuracy of ±4% of the set torque. It meets DIN EN ISO 6789 and is traceable to national standards. A 20° handgrip break when the preset torque is reached reduces the risk of over-tightening, and the wrench automatically resets to the starting position. The non-slip rubber handle improves grip, and certain models (760-00/ -01) are EPA-compliant for electrostatic-sensitive applications. How to use

Select the required preset torque value and fit the appropriate fastener on the 9x12 mm rectangular-cavity end. Tighten in the necessary direction; for the opposite direction, rotate the wrench 180° to enable bi-directional use. When the preset torque value is reached the handgrip will break by approximately 20°, indicating the set torque and helping to avoid over-tightening. After the click the mechanism automatically resets to the starting position. For changes to the preset torque, use the supplied special adjusting key or have the value set at the factory; adjustments by the user should be performed on a suitable torque tester.

Specify the exact N·m value when ordering if you require a fixed factory pre-setting. Keep calibration records and, where required by standards or quality procedures, verify or recalibrate the tool on a suitable torque tester at regular intervals to maintain accuracy.
