Diamond core drill bit GEKO 250x10x450 mm 20T 1.1/4" for wet and dry drilling
Diamond core drill bit GEKO 250x10x450 mm 20T 1.1/4" for wet and dry drilling is a long-reach core bit engineered for accurate hole cutting in concrete, masonry and reinforced materials. The bit's 250 mm diameter and extended 450 mm overall length provide a deep cutting capacity while the 20T diamond segment configuration balances cutting speed and segment life. A 1.1/4" thread connection ensures compatibility with common core drill rigs and anchors, enabling both wet and dry drilling methods depending on site conditions and equipment.
The diamond segments are bonded to deliver consistent cutting performance and improved wear resistance during extended drilling operations. The long cutting length and robust construction reduce the need for multiple tool changes when creating deep holes, improving workflow efficiency. Designed for wet and dry use, the core bit offers flexibility across different job sites and allows adaptation to available cooling methods. The standardized threaded connection supports secure mounting and straightforward installation on compatible core drilling machines.
Mount the core drill bit onto a compatible core drill rig with a 1.1/4" threaded arbor and ensure the bit is secured according to the machine manufacturer's instructions. For wet drilling, supply a steady flow of water to the cutting area to cool the segments and evacuate slurry. For dry drilling, use intermittent drilling and allow the bit to cool periodically to avoid overheating. Apply steady axial pressure without forcing the bit; allow diamond segments to do the cutting. Periodically withdraw the bit to clear debris and inspect the segments for wear.
Use wet drilling where possible to extend diamond segment life and reduce airborne dust. Match drill speed and feed to the host machine's specifications and the material being cut. Replace the core bit when diamond wear noticeably reduces cutting efficiency or when segments become unevenly worn.
