Punch Set GEKO G01822 — 15-piece leather hole punch, punch sizes 2–22 mm
GEKO G01822 is a 15-piece leather hole punch set designed for precise, repeatable hole making in leather and similar materials. The set includes a range of hollow punch tips that cover diameters from 2 mm to 22 mm, supplied with a compatible holder/adapter for handheld use. It is intended for light workshop, hobby and DIY jobs such as adjusting belts, creating strap holes, repairing footwear and working on small upholstery or leathercraft projects.
The set provides a wide range of punch sizes in a single compact kit, eliminating the need to buy individual punches. Hardened hollow tips deliver clean, circular holes with minimal material tearing when used on appropriate thicknesses. The included holder allows controlled, perpendicular strikes for more accurate hole placement. Its lightweight, portable design makes the set convenient for both home and mobile use.
Select the punch diameter appropriate for the hole required and mount the punch securely into the holder or adapter. Position the punch perpendicular to the material surface over the intended location. Place a cutting mat or scrap wood beneath the workpiece to protect the work surface. Strike the top of the punch firmly and evenly with a mallet or hammer until the punch cuts through the material, then withdraw the punch and clear any waste material from the hollow tip before the next cut.
For clean results, use a sharp punch on materials of an appropriate thickness for each diameter, and maintain perpendicular alignment while striking. Lubricating the punch lightly or rotating it slightly during cutting can reduce friction and prolong tool life. Store the set in its case to keep tips protected and check punches for burrs before use.
