GEKO silicone spatulas set, 4-piece (G30141) — hand tools for sealant smoothing
GEKO silicone spatulas set, 4-piece G30141 is a compact kit of hand tools designed for smoothing, shaping and finishing silicone sealant joints. The set includes four interchangeable silicone profiles that help create consistent bead shapes, remove excess sealant and achieve clean edges on joints around baths, sinks, windows and kitchen worktops. The tools are intended for both home DIY and professional applications where neat and even silicone joints are required.
The four silicone profiles cover common joint shapes and widths, reducing the need for improvised tools and allowing faster, more uniform finishing. Made from flexible silicone, the spatulas conform to curved and angled surfaces while resisting sticking to fresh sealant, which simplifies cleaning and reuse. Their compact design makes them easy to handle in confined spaces such as shower corners and window frames.
This set is intended specifically for silicone sealant finishing and may not perform well with very hard or cured materials that require scraping or chiselling. It is not designed for heavy demolition, removing old hardened sealant without prior softening, or for use as a metal scraping tool.
Apply the silicone sealant to the joint according to the sealant manufacturer's instructions. Select the spatula profile that matches the desired bead shape and joint width. Press the silicone spatula against the bead and draw it along the joint with steady, even pressure to shape and smooth the sealant, removing excess material as you go. Clean the spatula after use with a suitable solvent or warm soapy water before the sealant cures, depending on the sealant type.
For best results, work on a clean, dry surface and apply consistent pressure while pulling the spatula along the joint. Use masking tape along edges if you require extremely straight lines. Clean the spatulas immediately after use before the sealant cures to prolong tool life.
