Drill Bit GEKO SDS MAX 24 mm x 450 mm (model G42545)
Drill Bit GEKO SDS MAX 24 mm x 450 mm (model G42545)
GEKO SDS MAX rotary drill bit with a 24 mm diameter and 450 mm overall length is designed for drilling in concrete, stone and masonry. The bit features an SDS MAX shank for compatibility with SDS MAX rotary hammers and a carbide tip that provides effective cutting performance and extended service life when used for through and deep-hole drilling in construction and renovation tasks.
The SDS MAX design ensures secure bit retention and rapid bit changes in compatible rotary hammers. The carbide tip increases wear resistance and maintains drilling accuracy over repeated use. A 24 mm cutting diameter combined with a 450 mm length allows access to deeper drilling points while maintaining good rigidity for straight drilling. The bit is suitable for standard construction materials such as reinforced concrete, natural stone and masonry blocks.
Install the bit into the SDS MAX chuck of a compatible rotary hammer until it locks into place. Select the hammer or rotary mode appropriate for the material and apply steady forward pressure while allowing the tool to do the work. For deep or through holes, periodically withdraw the bit to clear dust and debris to maintain cutting efficiency and reduce heat buildup. Use appropriate personal protective equipment, including eye and hearing protection, dust mask and gloves.
For best results, use the bit with rotary hammers rated for SDS MAX tooling and choose correct drilling speed and impact settings for concrete or masonry. Regularly clear the hole of debris and avoid excessive side loads; replace the bit if the carbide tip becomes worn or damaged to maintain drilling performance and safety.
