Sanding Discs GEKO G78632 150 mm P80, perforated, pack 50/1000
GEKO G78632 sanding discs are 150 mm abrasive discs with P80 grit designed for medium-coarse sanding tasks. The perforated layout supports dust extraction when used with compatible orbital or rotary sanders, helping maintain a cleaner working surface and prolong abrasive life. Discs are supplied in the quantities indicated and are intended for use on wood, paint layers, primer and similar substrates during surface preparation and woodworking operations.
The combination of P80 abrasive provides an effective balance between material removal rate and surface finish for stripping paint, shaping edges or leveling uneven areas. Perforations enable connection to dust-extraction systems, reducing airborne dust and improving visibility of the workpiece. The 150 mm diameter fits sanders designed for that size and hole pattern, allowing consistent contact area and predictable sanding behaviour during both orbital and rotary motion.
Select sanding discs that match the sander's pad diameter and hole pattern. Secure the disc to the sander according to the machine's fastening system, ensure the dust extraction ports align where applicable, and start with low feed pressure until the disc seats correctly. Use steady, even passes over the surface, checking progress frequently and replacing the disc when wear reduces efficiency or causes scratching. Observe the sander manufacturer's safety instructions and use appropriate personal protective equipment, such as eye protection, respiratory protection and hearing protection.
For faster material removal on coarse jobs, maintain moderate pressure and consistent movement; for finer surface work, progress to higher-grit discs after initial P80 sanding. Ensure the perforations align with the sander's dust extraction system to maximise dust collection and extend disc life.
