Flap Mounted Wheel GEKO G78745 — 40×20×6 mm, P150 grit, pack 50/100
Flap Mounted Wheel GEKO G78745 is a bonded abrasive flap wheel measuring 40×20×6 mm with P150 grit, intended for use on rotary tools and small bench spindles. The compact size and layered abrasive flaps provide controlled material removal and a uniform finish on metal, wood and composite surfaces. Supplied in bulk packs of 50 or 100, these wheels are suitable for short, precise operations such as deburring, edge blending, weld smoothing and surface preparation prior to coating.
The construction of this flap mounted wheel ensures even wear across the abrasive flaps, extending usable life and maintaining consistent performance. P150 grit balances cutting rate and surface refinement, allowing efficient removal of burrs and light stock while producing a fine, ready-to-paint surface. The small 40×20×6 mm size offers access to tight spaces and fine detail work with good control when mounted on compatible rotary tools.
Fit the flap mounted wheel securely onto a compatible spindle according to the rotary tool manufacturer’s instructions. Operate the tool at the recommended speed for abrasive flap wheels and apply light, consistent pressure to the workpiece; excessive force can shorten abrasive life and overheat the material. Move the wheel steadily across the surface to achieve an even finish, keeping the contact angle appropriate for the task—flatter for blending, slightly angled for deburring or shaping. Allow the abrasive to do the work rather than forcing it into the material.
Use appropriate personal protective equipment including eye protection, gloves and hearing protection. Avoid using the wheel on materials or at speeds not advised by the tool manufacturer. Store packs in a dry environment away from direct heat and humidity to preserve abrasive performance.
