Wire Electric Brush GEKO G85302 230 mm, 7x17x18 mm, 2 pcs
GEKO G85302 electric wire brush set contains two 230 mm circular wire brushes with a 7x17x18 mm arbor connection, designed for use with angle grinders and compatible electric rotary tools. These brushes are intended for mechanical surface preparation tasks such as removing rust, paint and scale, cleaning welds and restoring metal surfaces. The two-piece pack provides a spare brush for uninterrupted work and reduced downtime when one brush wears out.
The wire brushes deliver consistent brushing performance and are manufactured to fit standard 7x17x18 mm tool spindles. Their 230 mm diameter offers a balance between coverage area and control, allowing efficient removal of corrosion and coatings from medium to large surfaces. Supplied as a set of two, they enable continuous operation and convenient replacement. The wire construction and density are suited to robust cleaning while maintaining structural stability during high-speed rotation.
Install the brush onto a compatible angle grinder or rotary tool with the matching 7x17x18 mm connection, following the tool manufacturer's mounting and safety instructions. Secure the brush tightly and check that the tool guard is correctly positioned. Operate the tool at the recommended speed for wire brush accessories and apply steady, even pressure to the workpiece without forcing the brush. Move the brush across the surface in controlled passes until the desired level of cleaning or surface preparation is achieved. Replace the brush when wires become excessively worn or the brush performance declines.
Use appropriate personal protective equipment including eye protection, gloves and respiratory protection when working with wire brushes. Avoid side pressure that can deform the brush and always follow safety instructions for your angle grinder or rotary tool. Store brushes in a dry place to prevent premature corrosion of the wire.
