3D printing filament Gembird Thermoplastic Elastomer (TPE) 1.75 mm Blue 1 kg
Gembird Thermoplastic Elastomer (TPE) 1.75 mm Blue 1 kg is a flexible 3D printing filament designed for FDM/FFF printers. The spool contains 1 kg of blue TPE filament with a 1.75 mm diameter suitable for use with printers from any brand. TPE is a thermoplastic elastomer that produces rubber-like parts with good elongation and tear resistance, making it appropriate for functional prototypes, seals, grips and wearable components. The material is RoHS certified and supplied on a single spool for straightforward installation.
TPE filament prints into flexible, rubber-like parts with high elongation and strong tear resistance. Its compatibility with a wide range of FDM/FFF printers simplifies integration into existing workflows. The 1.75 mm diameter offers consistent filament feed for systems designed around this common size, while the 1 kg spool provides a balanced quantity for multiple projects without frequent spool changes. The blue color gives a clear visual appearance for prototypes and finished parts.
Load the 1.75 mm filament into a compatible FDM/FFF printer following the printer manufacturer's filament-loading procedure. Use a direct-drive or a well-tensioned Bowden setup to improve feeding of flexible filament; reduce print speed and enable retraction settings suitable for elastomers to minimize stringing. Print on a heated bed if available and adjust bed temperature and first-layer height to ensure good adhesion without excessive squish. Store the spool in a dry environment or sealed container with desiccant to preserve material properties.
For consistent results, start with lower print speeds (for example 15–30 mm/s) and small retraction distances, then fine-tune temperatures and flow to match your specific printer. Use flexible settings and test small calibration prints to determine optimal extrusion temperature and bed adhesion for your setup.
