GEMBIRD Molex to SATA cable CCSATAC1 — 22-pin, 0.4 m, red
GEMBIRD CCSATAC1 is a 0.4 m Molex to SATA power adapter cable in red that converts a standard 4‑pin Molex connector to a 15‑pin SATA power plug. Designed for connecting and powering SATA hard drives, SSDs and other SATA-powered devices from an existing Molex power lead, the cable provides a compact, flexible solution for desktop PCs, system upgrades and spare-part installations where a direct SATA power connection is required.
The cable’s 0.4 m length offers a balance between reach and cable management inside PC cases. Its flexible insulation and molded connectors ensure a secure fit with minimal strain on power sockets. The red color makes routing and identification easier in multi-cable environments. The adapter converts the widely available Molex 4‑pin supply to the 15‑pin SATA power interface without additional components, allowing rapid installation.
Disconnect power from the system before installing the adapter. Plug the Molex 4‑pin connector into an available Molex power lead from the power supply, ensuring correct alignment of the pins, then connect the 15‑pin SATA power plug to the SATA device until it seats firmly. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and to maintain proper airflow inside the case. Reconnect power and verify the device is powered and detected by the system.
Use this adapter only inside desktop computer cases and with powered‑off systems when connecting or disconnecting. Avoid daisy‑chaining multiple adapters on a single power rail to prevent overloading. If multiple SATA devices require power, consider using additional dedicated SATA power connectors from the power supply or an appropriate powered distribution solution.
