GEMBIRD CC-SATA-PSY2 is a compact internal cable set designed to provide reliable SATA data and power connections in desktop PCs and servers. The kit combines a 0.15 m male-to-male SATA data cable with a flat dual SATA power lead, enabling a short, direct link between motherboard/controller SATA ports and storage devices such as HDDs, SSDs or optical drives. The short length reduces internal clutter and helps maintain signal integrity in cramped enclosures.
The short 0.15 m SATA data cable minimizes signal loss and latency compared with longer runs and helps keep drive bays tidy. The included flat power cable supplies two SATA power connectors from a single 5.25" (Molex-style) source, enabling tidy routing and improved airflow. Both cables are intended for internal use and are compatible with standard SATA drive and motherboard connectors.
Connect the 0.15 m SATA data cable between the motherboard or controller SATA port and the SATA data connector on the drive. Attach the flat power cable by plugging the single 5.25" style input into the corresponding power supply adapter or Molex output, then connect the two SATA power plugs to the drives. Ensure connectors are oriented correctly and seated firmly to avoid intermittent connections. Route cables to avoid contact with fans and moving parts.
