Video Signal Converter Gembird DSC-HDMI-CVBS-001 1920x1080 HDMI Composite
The Gembird DSC-HDMI-CVBS-001 1920x1080 HDMI Composite video signal converter converts an HDMI input to composite (CVBS) and S-Video outputs while supporting resolutions up to 1920x1080 pixels. It accepts common HDMI video modes including 480p, 576p, 720p, 1080i and 1080p and provides a compact, black-coloured unit designed for integration into AV setups where legacy displays or recording devices require analogue video signals from modern HDMI sources.
The converter supports high-definition input resolutions up to 1920x1080 and downscales or deinterlaces as needed for composite or S-Video output. It operates with a maximum refresh rate of 60 Hz and requires a 5 V, 1 A power supply for stable operation. Its small footprint and lightweight construction (approximately 0.1 kg) make it convenient to place near displays, set-top boxes or media players without occupying much space.
Connect an HDMI source to the device's HDMI input, then connect the composite (CVBS) or S-Video cable from the converter to the analogue display or recorder. Provide power using a compatible 5 V, 1 A DC adapter. Select the appropriate input mode on the target display if required. The converter will output a compatible analogue signal derived from the HDMI input and will use the supported video modes to match the best possible output quality for the connected analogue device.
Use short, good-quality analogue cables for composite or S-Video connections to reduce signal degradation. Ensure the power adapter supplies a stable 5 V at 1 A. When connecting to older displays, verify their accepted input mode and, if necessary, try different HDMI source resolutions (480p, 576p, 720p, 1080i, 1080p) to obtain the best display result.
