Alarm control panel Genevo PRiMA16Q with GSM (2G) and GPRS communicator
Genevo PRiMA16Q is an alarm control panel with an integrated GSM (2G) and GPRS communicator, designed to provide remote signalling and communication over mobile networks. The unit manages wired or wireless sensors and actuators via a central control interface, collects event information and transmits alerts to designated numbers or monitoring services. It is intended for small commercial or residential security installations where mobile network connectivity and remote control are required.
The control panel combines a compact hardware design with a built-in GSM (2G) and GPRS communicator to enable event reporting and remote interaction without the need for a fixed IP connection. It supports multiple input zones and configurable outputs, enabling flexible integration with door contacts, motion detectors, sirens and other security peripherals. The system’s mobile communication capability allows alarm notifications, remote arming/disarming and parameter updates via SMS or GPRS, improving responsiveness and reducing the need for on-site intervention.
Install the control panel in a secure indoor location with sufficient GSM signal strength. Connect required wired sensors and outputs to the appropriate terminals and pair compatible wireless devices following the manufacturer’s procedure. Configure the communicator settings to register the device on the mobile network and enter recipient numbers or monitoring service details for alarm reporting. Use the control interface to define zone types, alarm thresholds and output behaviours. After configuration, test the system to verify sensor triggers, alarm transmission and remote control functions.
Place the control panel where it receives stable GSM signal; if signal strength is weak, consider relocating the unit or using a signal booster. Regularly test alarm transmission and update phone numbers or monitoring settings after any change. For installations combining wired and wireless devices, plan zone assignments and power supply arrangements to ensure reliable operation.
