Blind rivet GESIPA 1432060 is a stainless steel PolyGrip blind rivet designed for demanding fastening tasks. It has a head diameter of 6.5 mm, a shank (tail) diameter of 3.2 mm and an overall length of 8 mm. Supplied in a mini-pack of 100 pieces, this grey-coloured rivet is suitable for indoor and outdoor applications where corrosion resistance, strong clamp force and reliable hole-filling performance are required.

Advantages

The GESIPA PolyGrip design provides an extended clamping range so a single rivet size can replace several standard blind rivet sizes. Radial deformation of the shank during installation ensures excellent hole-filling and allows compensation for bore tolerances, centre offset and diameter differences, creating a tight connection with minimal clearance. The spent mandrel locks securely to prevent rattling or loss, and the installed rivet forms a wide closing head that delivers high tensile strength. Under certain conditions the rivet assembly is splash-proof, making it an economical alternative to closed blind rivets.

How to use

Drill or prepare the hole to the appropriate diameter for the rivet shank. Insert the GESIPA PolyGrip rivet through the components to be joined so the head bears against the surface. Place the mandrel in a compatible blind-riveting tool and pull the mandrel until the rivet deforms and the wide closing head forms on the blind side. Continue pulling until the mandrel breaks and locks into the spent-mandrel position. Inspect the joint to ensure the head is flush and the tail has formed a secure bulge without excessive clearance.
