Audio intercom system GIRA 126065
The GIRA 126065 audio intercom system is a wired, flush-mounted door station designed for outdoor use with IP44 protection. It fits into conventional flush-mounted device boxes and is compatible with frames from the Gira TX_44 design line. The unit uses a 2-wire bus for both signal transmission and power supply and is constructed in a modular design that enables straightforward installation and later expandability.
The intercom provides reverse-polarity-protected and short-circuit-proof 2-wire bus transmission for reliable audio and video component operation. Its call buttons feature white LED illumination using maintenance-free, energy-saving technology for consistent visibility. The call-button cover plate is spray-water proof and made of shock-resistant plastic, and the nameplate can be replaced without tools or disassembling the frame. The device supports expansion with additional call button inserts (up to 14 inserts; 1- or 3-gang can be connected to one door station).
Install the door station into a conventional flush-mounted device box and mount the chosen Gira TX_44 frame if desired. Connect the 2-wire bus for signal and power, observing polarity protection and short-circuit safety. Fit call button inserts as required and insert the nameplate into the holder; the nameplate can be changed without tools. Verify LED illumination and weatherproof sealing after installation.
Use appropriate Gira mounting frames and the recommended flush-mounted device box for reliable sealing and mechanical protection. For systems including multiple call buttons or integrations, follow Gira wiring guidelines and, if needed, obtain professional installation to ensure compliance with local electrical rules.
