Self-adhesive non-woven sanding disc Glob 125 mm GLOB-KR-125-MEDIUM
Self-adhesive non-woven sanding disc Glob 125 mm GLOB-KR-125-MEDIUM
Self-adhesive non-woven sanding disc Glob 125 mm GLOB-KR-125-MEDIUM is a circular abrasive pad for surface preparation and finishing. Constructed from non-woven fibers with an adhesive backing, the disc attaches quickly to 125 mm backing pads or compatible orbital sanders. It is designed to blend edges, remove burrs, clean light rust and paint residues, and produce a uniform surface texture on metal, wood and composite materials.
The non-woven structure provides consistent abrasive action without deep scratches, allowing controlled material removal and uniform finish. The self-adhesive backing enables fast replacement on 125 mm support pads and reduces downtime. Medium grade abrasive balance is suitable for general-purpose surface conditioning across a range of substrates while maintaining flexibility to follow contours and irregular shapes.
Ensure the backing pad on the sander is clean and the surfaces to be worked are free of loose contaminants. Peel off the adhesive liner and press the disc firmly onto a compatible 125 mm backing pad. Operate the sander at recommended speeds for non-woven abrasives to avoid premature wear; apply light to moderate pressure and move evenly across the surface. For delicate areas or tight contours, work with controlled passes to achieve the desired finish. Replace the disc when abrasive effectiveness diminishes or the disc becomes clogged.
Use personal protective equipment such as safety glasses, dust mask and gloves when sanding. For best results on painted surfaces, test on a small area first and select the number of passes needed to blend without exposing substrate excessively. Store discs flat in a dry environment to preserve adhesive performance.
