Abrasive non-woven disc Glob 150 mm coarse GLOB-KR-150-COARSE
Glob abrasive non-woven disc, 150 mm diameter, coarse grit is designed for surface conditioning, rust and paint removal, deburring and aggressive finishing on metal and other materials. The disc features a self-adhesive backing for quick attachment to compatible holders and is suitable for both handheld and machine use where a coarse abrasive action and good conformability are required.
The coarse non-woven structure provides rapid material removal while maintaining a consistent finish across uneven surfaces. Its 150 mm size offers a balance between coverage and maneuverability. The self-adhesive backing enables fast disc changes and stable mounting on standard hook-and-loop or adhesive-compatible holders. The open-web construction reduces clogging and heat buildup, which extends working life during heavy-duty tasks.
Attach the disc securely to a compatible holder using the self-adhesive backing, ensuring full contact with the backing plate to avoid imbalance. Operate the tool at manufacturer-recommended speeds and apply moderate, even pressure; let the abrasive do the work rather than forcing the disc. For machine use, check that the holder and machine are rated for the disc diameter and intended operating speed. Inspect the disc periodically for wear and replace when the abrasive action diminishes or the disc becomes damaged.
Use appropriate personal protective equipment including eye protection, gloves and respiratory protection when removing coatings or rust. Test on a small area to confirm suitable abrasive aggressiveness and finish before proceeding with the entire surface. For prolonged use, allow intermittent cooling periods to preserve disc performance.
