Softbox Godox QR-P90 Black Nylon Polyester 6007
The Godox QR-P90 softbox in black nylon and polyester is a quick-release parabolic softbox designed for studio and on-location photography. It features a reflective silver interior and removable inner and front diffusers to control contrast and softness. The QR-P90 uses a lift-to-open rod system for fast setup and a compact small speed ring for easier transport. The softbox is compatible with Bowens mount strobes and continuous lights and can be adapted for other systems with optional speed rings. It is available in multiple sizes to suit different lighting needs.
The QR-P90 delivers consistent, flattering light by softening harsh highlights and reducing shadows, while the silver interior helps retain contrast when needed. Quick-release assembly and a lift-to-open mechanism reduce setup and breakdown time, making it practical for busy studio sessions and location shoots. Removable diffusers provide flexibility in light quality, and the compact speed ring reduces storage bulk. Compatibility with common Bowens mount lights and optional adapters increases its versatility across lighting systems.
Unpack the softbox and align the speed ring with your light source mount. Attach the speed ring to the strobe or continuous light according to the light manufacturer’s instructions. Lift the rods from the speed ring until they click into place to open the softbox, then install the inner and front diffusers as required for the desired softness. To disassemble, slightly lift a rod while pressing its release button and fold the softbox down for transport. When using non-Bowens lights, fit the corresponding optional adapter speed ring before mounting.
Use the inner diffuser for moderate softening and add the front diffuser for a broader, softer output. For more directional control, pair the softbox with a fabric grid (sold separately). Position the softbox at an appropriate distance and angle to control shadow quality and catchlights; closer placement yields softer light while farther placement increases contrast and falloff.
