Macro Ring Flash Godox MF-R76C for Canon, 76W, 5600K color temperature

The Godox MF-R76C for Canon is a macro ring flash designed to deliver even, daylight-balanced illumination for close-up and macro photography. With a 76W output and a 5600K color temperature, this ring-shaped flash surrounds the lens to minimize harsh shadows and produce consistent light across small subjects. Built for Canon mount cameras, the MF-R76C supports detailed texture and color reproduction in product, nature and clinical imaging where controlled, uniform lighting is essential.

Advantages

The ring configuration offers uniform lighting that reduces directional shadows and highlights, making fine details more visible and easier to focus on. The 76W power rating provides sufficient output for small subjects without excessive heat or power draw, and the 5600K color temperature matches daylight for natural white balance with minimal post-processing. Compatibility with Canon camera mounts ensures straightforward attachment and consistent triggering when used with compatible camera systems.

Suitable for

• Product photography of small items such as jewelry, electronics, and cosmetics
• Macro nature photography including insects, flowers and textures
• Medical, dental, and laboratory imaging where even illumination is required
• Close-up documentation for inspection, repair records, or archival imaging

Key specifications

• Nominal output power: 76W
• Light color temperature: 5600K (daylight-balanced)
• Ring-shaped flash design for even, 360° illumination around the lens
• Designed for Canon lens mounts and close-up use
• Optimized for macro and short-distance lighting scenarios

How to use

Mount the MF-R76C onto a compatible Canon lens or adapter according to the camera and lens manufacturer instructions. Position the subject at an appropriate close-up distance where the ring flash provides even coverage; adjust camera exposure settings and focus manually or with the camera’s macro mode. Trigger the flash using the camera’s flash sync or compatible wireless/triggering methods supported by your Canon system. Start with moderate power and adjust camera aperture and flash output to balance depth of field and exposure while maintaining the 5600K color balance.

Usage recommendations

Use low to moderate flash power for very close subjects to avoid blown highlights; increase aperture or lower ISO to maintain detail. Combine the ring flash with diffusers or reflectors when softer light or fill is required. Verify white balance settings in-camera or use a gray target for precise color consistency across a shoot.
