Floodlight GOOBAY 53881 Black 30 W LED IP44 with PIR sensor 10 m
Outdoor floodlight GOOBAY 53881 Black 30 W LED is a compact and weather-resistant luminaire designed for exterior lighting tasks. The fixture delivers 2,550 lm of neutral white light (4000 K) from 30 integrated LEDs housed in a black enclosure with IP44 protection for splash resistance. It operates from 230 V/50 Hz mains, has a quick 100 ms start-up time and includes an integrated PIR motion sensor with ON/OFF operation and detection range up to 10 m. The floodlight’s compact dimensions (153×70×191 mm) and M16 cable gland make it suitable for gardens, entrances and security lighting needs.
This GOOBAY LED floodlight provides a high luminous output relative to its 30 W power consumption, offering clear neutral white illumination while keeping energy use low. The built-in PIR sensor enables automatic activation on motion and can be set to simple ON/OFF operation, improving convenience and security. The IP44-rated housing protects against splashes and light rain, and the compact form factor allows installation in confined outdoor spaces. The integrated LEDs eliminate the need for separate lamps and reduce maintenance.
Mount the floodlight on a stable external surface using appropriate fixings and ensure the unit is positioned to cover the intended detection area. Connect to a 230 V/50 Hz supply following local electrical regulations and switch off power before wiring. Use the M16 cable gland for secure cable entry and seal any unused openings to maintain IP44 protection. Adjust the PIR sensor orientation and test the ON/OFF function to verify the detection range and correct operation before finalising the installation.
For optimal sensor performance, install the floodlight at a height and angle that avoids direct exposure to heat sources, reflective surfaces or heavy vegetation. Aim the sensor to monitor likely movement paths and allow a clear detection zone up to 10 m. Regularly check and clean the fixture’s exterior to prevent dirt build-up that could reduce light output and sensor sensitivity. Ensure all electrical connections comply with local codes and, where required, hire a qualified electrician for installation.
