Goobay HDMI Cable 2m Type A Standard Male Male 18 Gbit/s White
The Goobay HDMI Cable 2m Type A Standard Male Male 18 Gbit/s White (model 61020) is a 2-metre HDMI lead with HDMI Type A connectors on both ends. It supports a data transfer rate up to 18 Gbit/s and is equipped with gold-plated contacts to ensure reliable signal transmission and corrosion resistance. The cable carries high-quality digital video and audio signals and supports Audio Return Channel (ARC), making it suitable for connecting TVs, monitors, AV receivers and media players in a residential or office setup. The white outer jacket provides a neutral aesthetic for modern interiors.
The cable's 18 Gbit/s bandwidth enables transmission of high-definition video and multichannel audio between source and display devices. Gold-plated contacts improve contact reliability and reduce oxidation over time. Standard HDMI Type A connectors on both ends ensure compatibility with a wide range of TVs, monitors, projectors, set-top boxes, gaming consoles and Blu-ray players. The two-metre length offers flexibility for typical home and small-room installations while avoiding excessive cable slack.
Connect one HDMI Type A male connector to the HDMI output of the source device (for example a Blu-ray player, gaming console or set-top box) and connect the other HDMI Type A male connector to the HDMI input on the display device (TV, monitor or projector). If using ARC for audio return to an AV receiver or soundbar, connect the cable to the HDMI ARC-labelled ports on both devices and enable ARC in device settings if required. Ensure connectors are fully inserted and routed to avoid sharp bends or excessive tension on the cable.
For optimal signal quality, avoid running the HDMI cable parallel to high-power electrical cables and keep the cable length appropriate for the setup. Do not force connectors into ports; inspect ports and connectors for debris before connecting. For stable ARC operation, verify that both devices support ARC and enable relevant settings in the device menus.
