Goobay White flush wall-mounted PIR motion sensor provides passive infrared presence detection with a 160° detection angle and up to 9 m range. Designed for indoor use with IP20 protection, the device is intended for direct wired connection to a 220–240 V / 50 Hz AC supply and is compatible with LED lighting. The compact white housing (79 × 79 × 25 mm) allows discreet wall mounting in corridors, stairwells and rooms to control lighting based on occupancy.

How to use

Install the sensor as a flush wall-mounted unit at a recommended height and orientation to cover the intended detection zone. Connect the sensor to the building's 220–240 V / 50 Hz AC wiring following local electrical regulations and ensuring the supply is isolated during installation. Position the device so its 160° field of view faces the area to be monitored; verify that there are no large obstacles directly blocking the sensor’s line of sight. After wiring, restore power and test detection across the area to confirm reliable switching of the connected lighting.

Usage recommendations

For best performance, mount the sensor where its full 160° detection angle can monitor movement across the longest dimension of the space, avoid mounting near heat sources or air vents, and use with compatible LED drivers or fixtures rated for direct switching at mains voltage.
