DisplayPort cable GOOBAY 75685 — DisplayPort to DisplayPort, 2 m, black
GOOBAY 75685 is a 2 m DisplayPort-to-DisplayPort cable designed to transmit digital audio and video signals between compatible devices. The cable has DisplayPort connectors on both ends and a 2-metre length that allows flexible placement of source and display. It is intended for connecting PCs, laptops, graphics cards, monitors and projectors and is supplied single-packed in a polybag. The Goobay Plus series model features a slim metal design and supports DisplayPort 2.1 capabilities for high-resolution signal transmission and improved HDR performance.
The cable supports very high resolutions and refresh rates enabled by DisplayPort 2.1, providing up to 10K @ 60 Hz or 8K @ 120 Hz uncompressed and data throughput of up to 80 Gbit/s. UHBR20 data rates help deliver improved HDR support, greater colour depth and stronger contrast. The design supports multi-monitor configurations including daisy-chaining and is compatible with features such as FreeSync, G-Sync and HDCP 2.2. Its metal exterior offers a compact, durable construction suitable for desktop and AV setups.
Connect one DisplayPort straight male connector to the DisplayPort output on your computer, laptop or graphics card and the other connector to the DisplayPort input on your monitor or projector. Ensure both source and display devices support the desired resolution and refresh rate and configure the display settings in the operating system or graphics driver. For multi-monitor setups using daisy-chaining, verify that intermediate monitors support DisplayPort Multi-Stream Transport (MST) and configure the chain according to the monitor manufacturer’s instructions.
To achieve the specified high resolutions and refresh rates, use the cable with devices and graphics hardware that explicitly support DisplayPort 2.1 and the target modes. Avoid sharp bends or excessive tension on the cable and keep connectors free of dust. When using adaptive sync or HDCP-protected content, ensure both source and display are configured for those features in their firmware or driver settings.
