Grinding stone, cone-shaped, 8 x 12 mm (diameter x length), drive 3.2 mm. Sold as a set of 3 pieces (GRAPHITE, 55H055). Made of aluminium oxide for use with mini-grinders and similar rotary tools. Intended for work on metals, castings, welds and rivets, as well as for rust removal. Also suitable for sharpening, smoothing, deburring and general grinding of most materials; can be used on ceramics, glass, wood and plastics to smooth edges.
Professional aluminium oxide construction provides durable abrasive performance for metal and general-purpose grinding. Cone shape allows access to narrow or shaped surfaces and supports precise material removal. Supplied as a set of three stones to provide replacements or multiple working sizes. Compatible with mini-grinder tools that accept a 3.2 mm drive shank.
Fit the grinding stone onto a compatible rotary tool or mini-grinder using the 3.2 mm drive shank, ensuring it is tightened securely according to the tool manufacturer’s instructions. Operate the tool at appropriate speeds for the material being worked on, applying light, steady pressure and allowing the abrasive to do the cutting. Periodically inspect the stone for wear and replace it from the set when necessary.
Use appropriate personal protective equipment (safety glasses, gloves and a dust mask) and follow the mini-grinder manufacturer’s safety guidelines. Do not apply excessive lateral force to the cone to avoid shank or stone breakage. Select working speeds and pressure suitable for the material to achieve optimal results.
