Sandpaper Cloth 230 x 280 mm K100 GRAPHITE 55H877
GRAPHITE sandpaper cloth 230 x 280 mm, abrasive grade K100, is a cloth-backed abrasive designed for manual and machine sanding of wood, metal and painted surfaces. The medium-coarse K100 grit delivers consistent material removal for leveling surfaces, removing old paint or rust, and preparing substrates for primers and topcoats. The cloth backing offers flexibility and tear resistance, making the sheet suitable for use on flat areas and contoured parts in trades, workshops and DIY tasks.
The cloth backing provides enhanced durability and resistance to tearing compared with paper-backed abrasives, allowing longer working life under moderate pressure. The uniform K100 abrasive grain ensures predictable stock removal and even surface finish. The sheet format 230 x 280 mm fits common hand sanding blocks and many sanding machines or can be used directly by hand for precise control. Suitable for use on a range of materials, the abrasive is effective for both material preparation and intermediate sanding stages.
Select the K100 sandpaper cloth for initial smoothing, paint removal or surface leveling. When sanding by hand, attach the sheet to a compatible sanding block for even pressure and control; when using a machine, follow the machine manufacturer’s instructions and secure the sheet appropriately. Move the abrasive with steady, overlapping strokes and check progress frequently to avoid over-sanding. Replace the sheet when cutting performance decreases or the cloth shows significant wear.
For best results start with K100 to remove material efficiently, then progress to finer grits for final smoothing before priming or finishing. Use appropriate personal protective equipment (dust mask, goggles, gloves) and ensure adequate dust extraction when sanding metal or painted surfaces.
