Manual sanding supply GRAPHITE 55H888 for wood, width 230 mm, 1 pc
GRAPHITE 55H888 manual sanding supply is a single abrasive sheet sized 230 x 280 mm with P100 grit, designed primarily for woodworking and manual surface preparation. The sheet weighs approximately 74 g and features an abrasive alumina grain with a semi-open coating on C-paper backing. It is suitable for mechanical sanding with orbital sanders, sanding blocks and hand trowels and can be used on wood, wood-based materials, some metals and plastics for smoothing and finishing edges, trims and panels.
The semi-open coating places abrasive grain on roughly 80–90% of the surface, improving cutting efficiency and reducing clogging during sanding. C-paper backing provides a balance of flexibility and strength for manual use and for use with orbital sanders. The P100 grit offers medium abrasive action, suitable for removing small imperfections and preparing surfaces for finer finishing steps.
Select the GRAPHITE 55H888 P100 sheet for intermediate sanding or light material removal. Secure the sheet to a sanding block or compatible orbital sander according to the tool manufacturer’s instructions. Apply even, moderate pressure and move the abrasive with the grain where applicable on wood surfaces. For best results on edges and trims use hand sanding with a block; for larger panels use an orbital sander to maintain an even finish. Replace the sheet when abrasive performance declines or clogging cannot be removed by light cleaning.
Use appropriate personal protective equipment such as safety glasses and a dust mask when sanding. Test on a small inconspicuous area before applying to finished surfaces. Avoid excessive pressure to prevent uneven removal or damage to substrate; for finer finishing follow with finer grit abrasive.
