GRAPHITE 55H934 replacement sanding and grinding discs are designed for use with rotary and orbital sanding tools on wood. Each disc has a diameter of 125 mm (12.5 cm) and is supplied in a pack of five. The discs feature aluminium oxide abrasive with a semi-open coating to improve cutting efficiency and reduce clogging, and an E-paper backing for mechanical grinding. A Velcro (hook-and-loop) fastening allows quick and secure attachment to compatible backing pads.

Advantages

The semi-open abrasive coating covers approximately 80–90% of the paper surface, which improves material removal while limiting rapid clogging when working with paint, varnish and wood. How to use

Attach a disc to a compatible backing pad using the Velcro fastening and ensure it is seated evenly before switching on the tool. Start sanding at low speed to check compatibility with the workpiece, then increase speed as needed while keeping the tool moving to avoid uneven removal or burn marks. Replace discs when abrasive wear reduces effectiveness. Observe the grinder manufacturer's instructions regarding allowed speeds and mounting procedure.

Usage recommendations

Use the K60 grit discs for medium to coarse material removal and paint stripping on wood. For finer finishing, switch to higher grit abrasives. Maintain steady, even pressure and continuous motion to extend disc life and achieve uniform results. Wear appropriate personal protective equipment such as eye protection, dust mask and hearing protection when grinding or sanding.
