GRAPHITE 55H945 is a pack of five 150 mm (Ø15 cm) Velcro-backed sanding pads designed for rotary tools and orbital sanders used in woodworking and surface preparation. Each disc features a semi-open aluminium-oxide abrasive coating on an E-paper backing that reduces clogging and limits heat build-up during sanding. Perforations in the abrasive allow connection to dust-extraction systems for cleaner operation. The set is supplied as five pads with a total pack weight of 88 g.

How to use

Attach a sanding pad to a compatible rotary tool or orbital sander with a Velcro-compatible hook backing, ensuring the pad is centered and securely fastened. Select appropriate speed and pressure for the workpiece and start with light passes, increasing pressure gradually if required. Use perforations and connect the tool to a dust-extraction system where available to reduce dust. Replace the pad when abrasive performance decreases or when the surface of the disc becomes clogged beyond cleaning.

Usage recommendations

Use the K40 grit pads for coarse stock removal, paint stripping and shaping. For final finishing, change to a finer grit abrasive. Operate tools at recommended speeds for wood to avoid overheating the workpiece, and wear appropriate personal protective equipment such as dust mask, eye protection and hearing protection when sanding. Store discs flat in a dry environment to preserve backing and adhesive properties.
