Rotary tool sanding discs GRAPHITE 55H950 for wood, Ø15 cm, pack of 5
GRAPHITE 55H950 sanding discs are designed for use with rotary tools and sanders on wooden surfaces. Each disc has a diameter of 150 mm and the pack contains five Velcro-backed abrasive discs. The discs feature an E-paper backing and a semi-open aluminium oxide coating that covers approximately 80–90% of the paper surface, which improves cutting efficiency and reduces clogging. Holes in the discs enable dust extraction when used with a compatible vacuum system. Total pack weight is approximately 56 g.
The semi-open aluminium oxide coating provides effective material removal while lowering the risk of clogging and overheating of the workpiece surface. Velcro backing allows quick and secure replacement of discs on compatible rotary tools. Perforations support near dust-free operation when connected to a dust extraction system. The uniform 150 mm diameter and consistent grit size ensure predictable sanding performance across the pack.
Attach a disc to a compatible rotary tool or sander with a matching Velcro pad, ensuring the disc is centered and securely fastened. Select an appropriate speed and apply light to moderate pressure, moving the tool evenly across the surface to avoid gouging. Use the perforations and a dust extraction connection where available to reduce airborne dust. Replace the disc when abrasive performance decreases or the disc becomes clogged or damaged.
For best results on wood, test on a scrap piece to confirm speed and pressure settings. Use progressively finer grits for smoother finishes before painting or varnishing. Maintain consistent motion to avoid uneven sanding and allow discs to cool if prolonged use causes temperature build-up.
