Accessory for power tools GRAPHITE 56H049 — replacement/consumable part
GRAPHITE 56H049 is a set of replacement reciprocating saw blades supplied as a consumable accessory for compatible power tools. The package contains 10 blades in five different types (two blades of each type) made from HCS and bi-metal (BIM/M42) materials, designed to restore or maintain cutting performance for renovation, construction, demolition and home DIY tasks. Blade lengths and tooth pitches vary across the set to suit coarse and fine cuts, straight and curved or plunge cutting, and cutting of wood, metal-containing wood, plastics and thin sheet materials.
The set provides a balanced selection of blades for a wide range of materials and cutting styles, reducing the need to purchase separate blade packs. Blades made from HCS and bi-metal M42 combine flexibility and wear resistance for longer life under varied cutting conditions. Different tooth geometries and thicknesses enable both fast, rough cuts and precise, clean finishes while being suitable for straight-line and curved or plunge cuts.
Select the blade type that matches the material and cut profile: coarse-tooth blades for fast ripping of thick wood, bi-metal blades for cutting wood with embedded metal or for longer life on abrasive materials, and fine-tooth blades for thin sheets and precise cuts. Fit the blade securely in the reciprocating saw following the tool manufacturer's blade-change instructions and ensure correct orientation for plunge or curved cutting when required. During cutting, use appropriate feed speed and steady pressure; avoid forcing the blade to prevent premature wear or breakage. Replace blades when cutting becomes slow or teeth show visible wear.
For safety and best results, wear eye and hearing protection, use gloves and a dust mask as needed, clamp workpieces when possible, and match blade selection to material thickness and presence of metal. Store blades dry and protected to avoid corrosion and check compatibility with your reciprocating saw's blade mount system before use.
