Drill bit GRAPHITE 56H404 for wood, 64 mm length, 7 mm diameter, 1 pc
GRAPHITE 56H404 is a single 7 mm diameter drill bit for wood with an overall length of 64 mm, supplied in a blister pack. Designed for hammerless drilling in timber and similar soft materials, this drill bit fits standard cordless and corded power drills with a compatible round-holder chuck. The 4‑bladed pilot tip and titanium nitride (TiN) coating improve cutting action and surface wear resistance, making the bit suitable for creating precise holes for fittings, dowels and light joinery tasks.
The 4‑blade design ensures stable centring and smoother drilling in soft substrates. A titanium nitride coating enhances durability and reduces friction during use. The round holder end is compatible with chucks that accept round‑shank bits, and the blister packaging provides single‑piece protection and easy storage. Intended for hammerless drilling, the bit is optimized for controlled, clean holes in wood and comparable materials.
Secure the GRAPHITE 7 mm drill bit in the drill chuck that accepts round shank bits. Select an appropriate rotational speed for the material being drilled (lower speeds for plastics and aluminium, moderate speeds for timber). Position the pilot tip on the marked point, apply steady axial pressure, and drill with consistent feed until the required hole depth is reached. Retract the bit periodically to clear chips when drilling deep holes and allow the bit to cool if excessive heat builds up.
Use the drill bit only in rotational (hammerless) mode; avoid impact or hammer settings. For the best hole quality and tool life, clamp the workpiece securely, use appropriate drill speed, and withdraw the bit occasionally to remove debris. Replace the bit once wear degrades cutting performance or if the coating is significantly worn.
