Drill bit GRAPHITE 56H405, for wood, 8 mm diameter, 76 mm length, 1 pc
GRAPHITE 56H405 drill bit, 8 mm diameter and 76 mm overall length, is designed for hammerless drilling in wood and other soft materials. Supplied as a single piece in a blister pack, this multi-functional 4-blade bit has a round holder end and a pilot tip that ensures straight entry and controlled cutting when used with standard drill chucks and cordless drivers.
The 4-blade design combined with a silicon carbide blade and titanium nitride (TiN) coating increases wear resistance and extends cutting life compared with uncoated bits. Its pilot drill tip improves centering and reduces wandering on flat wooden surfaces. The round-holder shank fits common chucks and cordless drivers, providing compatibility with general-purpose drilling tasks. Lightweight construction makes it easy to handle during repetitive operations.
Secure the GRAPHITE 56H405 drill bit in a compatible drill chuck, ensuring the round shank is clamped firmly. Select a drill speed appropriate for wood and the material being worked; lower speeds are preferable for larger diameters and harder workpieces. Align the pilot tip with the marked drilling position and apply steady, moderate pressure while maintaining a perpendicular orientation to achieve a straight hole. Withdraw occasionally to clear chips and avoid overheating; when finished, remove the bit and clean chips from the flutes.
Use only in rotary (hammerless) mode as specified. For best results in wood, start with a pilot mark or center punch and choose a drill speed suited to the workpiece. Wear eye protection and follow standard safety precautions when drilling; replace the bit when wear or coating damage reduces cutting performance.
