Screwdriver bit GRAPHITE 56H509, 1/4" drive, 6 mm hex, 25 mm length
GRAPHITE 56H509 is a 6 mm hex screwdriver bit with a 1/4" drive and a 25 mm working length, intended for manual and powered screwdrivers, bit holders and impact drivers. Manufactured from S2 steel and supplied in blister packaging, this compact bit is suitable for assembly, repair and general maintenance where short, heavy-duty hex bits are required. The design includes a torsion zone that reduces stress transfer under high torque and a precisely machined tip for secure engagement with fasteners.
The S2 steel construction provides increased flexibility and resistance to mechanical damage, improving durability during repeated use. The torsion zone helps absorb peak loads and reduces the risk of breakage under high torque, extending the service life of the bit. A precisely ground hex tip ensures reliable fit in hex sockets and reduces cam-out during fastening operations. Compact 25 mm length offers better control and access in confined spaces while maintaining compatibility with standard 1/4" drive chucks.
Insert the 1/4" drive end into the chuck or bit holder of a compatible screwdriver or impact driver until it seats firmly. Engage the 6 mm hex tip with the fastener head and apply steady torque appropriate for the fastener material. For powered drivers, start at low speed to ensure correct alignment, then increase speed as required. After use, remove the bit and store it in its blister or a suitable bit holder to protect the tip from damage.
Use the bit with tools rated for the required torque and avoid excessive side loads. For high-torque applications prefer impact-rated drivers and check the bit regularly for wear; replace when tip deformation or rounding is visible. Keep the bit clean and dry to maintain fit and extend service life.
