Screwdriver bit GRAPHITE 56H518, 1/4" drive, Phillips PH1, 50 mm
GRAPHITE 56H518 is a 50 mm Phillips PH1 screwdriver bit with a 1/4" drive designed for use with manual handles, power screwdrivers and impact drivers that accept standard 1/4" bits. Constructed from S2 steel and featuring a torsion zone, this bit is intended for general fastening tasks and heavier work where increased torque and resistance to mechanical damage are required. The working tip is precision-formed to ensure accurate engagement with PH1 screws and to reduce cam-out during driving.
The S2 steel construction provides increased flexibility and improved resistance to wear and mechanical damage compared with standard carbon bits. A torsion zone absorbs and smooths peak torque loads, lowering the risk of breakage under heavy use and extending service life. The precision-machined Phillips tip ensures a secure fit into PH1 screw heads, improving driving accuracy and reducing bit slippage. The 50 mm length gives a balance between reach and control for a wide range of tasks.
Insert the 1/4" hex shank into a compatible bit holder, manual handle, power screwdriver or impact driver. Select the appropriate torque setting on the driver when working with delicate materials, and position the Phillips PH1 tip squarely in the screw head before applying power. For longer life, avoid excessive side load and remove the bit periodically to inspect the tip for wear. Replace the bit when the tip shows rounding or signs of damage to maintain efficient fastening and prevent screw head damage.
Use the bit with compatible drivers rated for impact use when performing high-torque operations. Match the PH1 tip to the screw head size, apply steady axial pressure to prevent cam-out, and store the bit in its blister pack or a dedicated holder to protect the tip between uses.
