Screwdriver bit GRAPHITE 56H519, 1/4" drive, Phillips PH2, 50 mm
GRAPHITE 56H519 screwdriver bit is a 50 mm long Phillips PH2 bit with a 1/4" drive designed for use with manual screwdrivers, cordless drivers and impact drivers that accept 1/4" bit holders. Manufactured from S2 steel, this bit combines a hardened working tip with a torsion zone to withstand higher torques and repeated use in woodworking, metalworking and general assembly tasks. The bit is supplied in a blister pack and weighs approximately 18 g.
The S2 steel construction offers increased toughness and improved resistance to mechanical damage compared with standard tool steels. An integrated torsion zone absorbs peak torque and reduces stress transfer to the tip, lowering the risk of breakage and extending service life. The precisely machined Phillips PH2 tip provides accurate engagement with compatible screws to reduce cam-out and improve driving efficiency. The 50 mm length balances access into recessed screw heads with control when used in powered tools.
Insert the 1/4" hex shank of the GRAPHITE 56H519 bit into the chuck or bit holder of a compatible manual or powered screwdriver. Ensure the bit seats fully and lock the holder before applying torque. Select an appropriate driving speed and torque setting for the screw size and material to avoid overdriving. When using an impact driver, allow the torsion zone to absorb torque peaks; do not attempt to straighten a bent bit—replace it if damaged.
Use the bit with properly matched Phillips PH2 screws and appropriate torque settings. Inspect the working tip periodically for wear and replace when rounding or chipping is visible. Store in dry conditions and avoid exposing the bit to corrosive environments to maintain performance.
