Screwdriver bit GRAPHITE 56H523 — Pozidriv PZ3, 1/4" drive, 50 mm
GRAPHITE 56H523 is a Pozidriv PZ3 screwdriver bit with a 1/4" hex drive and a total length of 50 mm. Manufactured from S2 tool steel, the bit is built for use with hand drivers, power screwdrivers and impact drivers that accept 1/4" bits. The design includes a torsion zone to absorb peak torque and a precision-machined Pozidriv tip to ensure accurate engagement with Pozidriv fasteners while helping to reduce cam-out and wear during repeated use.
The S2 steel construction provides increased toughness and resistance to mechanical damage compared with standard tool steels. The integrated torsion zone reduces stress transmission under high torque, decreasing the risk of breakage and extending service life. A precision ground PZ3 tip ensures a reliable fit in Pozidriv screws for efficient torque transfer. Supplied in a blister pack for convenient individual storage and retail display, the bit is lightweight and simple to carry with other hand or power tools.
Insert the 1/4" hex shank into a compatible bit holder, hand screwdriver, drill or impact driver. Align the Pozidriv tip with the screw head and apply steady pressure while driving to maintain full engagement of the PZ3 profile. For high-torque applications, allow the torsion zone to flex under load rather than forcing sudden directional changes. After use, store the bit in its blister pack or a suitable tool organiser to protect the tip from damage.
Use the bit with tool settings appropriate for Pozidriv screws and the material being fastened. Avoid excessive side loading and sudden impacts that could deform the tip. For prolonged heavy-duty work, check the tip regularly for wear and replace the bit if the PZ profile becomes rounded or damaged to maintain secure screw engagement and reduce fastener cam-out.
