Screwdriver bit GRAPHITE 56H527, 1/4" drive, Torx Plus TX27, 50 mm
GRAPHITE 56H527 is a 50 mm screwdriver bit with a 1/4" hex drive and a Torx Plus TX27 profile. Designed for use with hand drivers, power screwdrivers and impact drivers with 1/4" bit holders, this bit is intended for fastening Torx Plus fasteners in automotive, assembly and maintenance tasks. The bit is made of S2 steel, features a torsion zone that reduces stress under high torque and a precision-machined tip for accurate engagement with fasteners.
The S2 steel construction provides increased flexibility and resistance to mechanical damage, while the incorporated torsion zone lowers transmitted peak forces to reduce the risk of breakage and extend service life. The precision working tip ensures optimal fit in Torx Plus TX27 fasteners, reducing cam-out and wear. With a compact 50 mm length and a 1/4" drive, the bit is compatible with standard bit holders and offers a balance of reach and control for both handheld and powered applications.
Insert the 1/4" hex shank of the GRAPHITE 56H527 bit into a compatible bit holder, hand driver or power/impact driver. Select appropriate torque and speed settings for the fastener and material to avoid over-torquing. Position the Torx Plus TX27 tip squarely into the fastener recess to ensure proper engagement before applying torque. For repetitive or high-torque applications, allow the bit and driver to operate at recommended duty cycles and avoid side loading that may increase wear.
Use the bit with correctly sized Torx Plus TX27 fasteners and appropriate torque settings. For impact applications, verify that the driver is compatible with S2 impact-rated bits. Store the bit in its blister pack or a protective case to prevent tip damage and inspect regularly for wear or deformation, replacing the bit if the tip shows signs of rounding or cracking.
