Screwdriver bit GRAPHITE 56H573 — 1/4" drive, Pozidriv PZ2, 300 mm length
GRAPHITE 56H573 is a single long Pozidriv PZ2 screwdriver bit with a 1/4" (6.35 mm) hex drive and a 300 mm overall length. Designed for use with drivers and hammer drills that accept a 1/4" chuck, this bit is made from S2 alloy steel for improved resistance to deformation and extended service life. Supplied in a blister pack and weighing approximately 78 g, the bit provides extra reach for fastening Pozidriv PZ2 screws in deep, recessed, or otherwise hard-to-reach applications.
The S2 alloy steel construction increases toughness and wear resistance, reducing the likelihood of tip rounding and deformation under torque. Its 300 mm length gives reliable extended reach while the standardized 1/4" hex shank ensures compatibility with a wide range of cordless drivers, electric screwdrivers and hammer drills. The Pozidriv PZ2 profile offers secure engagement with Pozidriv fasteners, improving torque transfer and reducing cam-out during driving and removal.
Insert the 1/4" hex shank into the driver or drill chuck and secure it according to the tool manufacturer's instructions. Align the Pozidriv PZ2 tip with the head of the screw, applying steady axial pressure to maintain engagement, then operate the driver at an appropriate speed and torque for the screw and base material. For deep or recessed screws, use the full bit length to reach the fastener while keeping control of rotation and pressure to avoid stripping the screw head.
Use the bit with tools that accept 1/4" hex shanks and select torque settings suitable for the screw size and material. Inspect the tip regularly for wear and replace the bit when the driving profile becomes rounded or damaged to maintain secure engagement and reduce risk of screw damage.
