Drill Bit GRAPHITE SDS+ 10 mm for Concrete, model 57H424
Drill Bit GRAPHITE SDS+ 10 mm for Concrete, model 57H424
GRAPHITE SDS+ 10 mm drill bit model 57H424 is engineered for drilling clean, precise 10 mm holes in concrete, masonry and reinforced concrete when used with SDS+ rotary hammer drills. The bit’s SDS+ shank ensures secure tool engagement and efficient transfer of impact energy, enabling reliable performance during installation of anchors, fixtures and through-holes in construction and renovation tasks.
The SDS+ design provides quick, firm mounting and reduced slippage in compatible rotary hammers. A hardened carbide tip and optimized flute geometry deliver effective material removal, improved drilling speed and extended service life compared with standard twist bits. The bit’s 10 mm diameter is suitable for a range of common anchor and fixing sizes and helps achieve uniform, accurately sized holes.
Select an SDS+ rotary hammer drill and insert the drill bit into the chuck until it locks. Use hammer-drill mode for concrete and apply steady axial pressure without forcing the bit; let the tool’s percussion action do the work. For through-holes, drill fully through the material; for anchor holes drill to the required depth and clean the hole of dust before inserting the anchor or wall plug. Retract the bit periodically on long or deep holes to clear debris and reduce overheating.
Wear appropriate personal protective equipment including safety goggles, hearing protection and a dust mask. Match the drill bit diameter to the anchor or fixing specifications and use correct drill speed and hammer settings for the material. Replace the bit if the carbide tip shows significant wear or if drilling performance deteriorates.
