Drill bit GRAPHITE SDS+ 10 mm for concrete, model 57H430
GRAPHITE SDS+ 10 mm drill bit for concrete, model 57H430, is a rotary hammer accessory designed to create 10 mm diameter holes in concrete, masonry and similar hard materials. The bit features an SDS+ shank that ensures secure mounting in compatible rotary hammers and enables quick, tool-free bit changes. The carbide tip and flute geometry are designed for efficient drilling in tough substrates while maintaining hole precision for anchors, sleeves and fixture installation.
The SDS+ connection provides reliable retention and fast exchange of the drill bit in rotary hammers that accept SDS+ shanks. The 10 mm diameter delivers a consistent hole size suitable for common fasteners and anchor systems. A carbide cutting head improves durability and maintains cutting performance in abrasive concrete and masonry. The flute design facilitates debris evacuation to reduce clogging and help maintain drilling speed and hole quality.
Fit the SDS+ shank into the chuck of a compatible rotary hammer until it locks. Select appropriate drilling speed and hammering mode according to the tool manufacturer’s instructions and the hardness of the work surface. Position the bit perpendicular to the surface, start drilling with light pressure until the carbide tip engages, then apply steady pressure while allowing the tool to do the work. Periodically withdraw the bit to clear debris and prevent overheating. After completing the hole, remove dust with a brush or compressed air before installing anchors or fixtures.
Use personal protective equipment such as safety goggles, hearing protection and dust mask when drilling concrete. For reinforced concrete, use a suitable rebar-detecting method before drilling. Select appropriate anchor type and hole depth matching the 10 mm diameter; avoid excessive lateral force on the bit to extend service life.
