Drill Bit GRAPHITE SDS+ 14 mm for Concrete, model 57H464
GRAPHITE SDS+ 14 mm drill bit for concrete (model 57H464) is designed for use with rotary hammer drills equipped with an SDS+ shank. With a 14 mm diameter and a geometry tuned for masonry, the bit is suitable for drilling through concrete, reinforced concrete, brick and similar building materials. It is intended for creating holes for anchors, dowels, pipes and conduits and for general on-site drilling tasks where a stable, straight bore is required.
The SDS+ connection ensures fast, secure coupling and efficient power transfer from the rotary hammer to the bit. The 14 mm diameter provides a balance between hole size and drill penetration speed for common anchoring tasks. The tip geometry is optimised to reduce walking at the start and to maintain drilling accuracy, while the flute design removes dust effectively to preserve cutting performance. The bit is manufactured to typical quality standards for masonry drilling and is compatible with widely used SDS+ rotary hammers.
Fit the drill bit into the SDS+ chuck of a compatible rotary hammer until it locks securely. Select hammer or hammer-drill mode as appropriate for the material being drilled. Start drilling at low speed to position the tip, then apply steady pressure and increase to the correct operating speed of the tool. Periodically withdraw the bit to clear dust from the hole and reduce heat build-up. For deep holes, drill in stages and clear debris between passes to maintain efficiency and prolong bit life.
Use appropriate personal protective equipment including safety glasses, ear protection and a dust mask. For reinforced concrete, use controlled feed pressure and avoid excessive lateral forces. Match drill speed and hammer action to the material; when drilling through very hard or heavily reinforced concrete, consider using progressive drilling with short breaks to avoid overheating. Store the bit in a dry place and inspect for wear or damage before each use.
