Metalworking chisel GRAPHITE 57H548 — weight 1.03 kg, single piece
GRAPHITE 57H548 is a metalworking chisel designed for cutting, shaping and removing metal and masonry materials during fabrication, construction and repair. This single-piece tool weighs 1.03 kg and combines an SDS‑Max shank with a grooved point that reduces tool seizing while the hammer rotates. With a length of 600 mm and an 18 mm diameter, the chisel is intended for power chiselling to create holes, furrows and for general-purpose breaking, cutting and chasing in concrete, bricks, hollow blocks and stone.
The grooved point lowers the risk of the tool seizing in the material during rotary impact, while the geometry of the tip ensures efficient material removal. The chisel features a self‑sharpening action that extends service life and reduces downtime for maintenance. Compatible with SDS‑Max hammering systems, the single-piece construction delivers consistent performance in demanding construction and demolition tasks.
Insert the SDS‑Max shank securely into a compatible demolition or rotary hammer according to the tool and machine manufacturer's instructions. Position the grooved point against the work surface, apply steady striking or hammer action, and progress gradually to form the required hole, furrow or break. Use appropriate feed force and avoid excessive bending or side loading to prevent premature wear or tool damage. Allow the tool to accelerate and follow through with controlled movements when chiselling.
Use appropriate personal protective equipment including eye protection, hearing protection and gloves. Match the chisel to an SDS‑Max hammer with suitable impact energy for the task. Inspect the chisel before use for damage and replace if the tip is excessively worn. Store in a dry place and keep the shank clean to ensure secure coupling with the hammer tool.
