Hole saw GRAPHITE 57H912, 1 pc, weight 80 g
GRAPHITE 57H912 is a single-piece hole saw designed for making clean circular openings in a variety of work materials. The tool is supplied as a single unit and has a compact weight of 80 g, making it easy to handle and install on compatible drills and drill drivers. The blade features progressive teeth manufactured from high-speed steel in a bimetal construction, which helps maintain cutting performance when working with different substrates.
The bimetal construction combines flexibility and hardness to resist breakage while retaining a sharp cutting edge. Progressive high-speed steel teeth provide efficient cutting action and improved chip evacuation for consistent hole quality. Its lightweight, single-piece design simplifies mounting and reduces wobble during drilling when used with an appropriate arbor and chuck.
Fit the hole saw to a suitable arbor and secure it in the drill chuck according to the drill manufacturer’s instructions. Mark the center of the desired hole on the workpiece and, if necessary, use a pilot drill to create a starter point. Start drilling at low speed to establish the cut, then increase speed and apply steady, even pressure. Allow the saw to cut through the material without forcing; pause periodically to clear chips and prevent overheating. After cutting, remove the plug and deburr the hole edges if required.
Use cutting lubricant or coolant when working with stainless steel or other hard metals to extend tool life and improve cut quality. Select an arbor and drill with sufficient power and a secure chuck for stable operation. Wear appropriate personal protective equipment such as safety glasses and gloves, and secure the workpiece before drilling.
